Northern Kentucky is located directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati Ohio and really has become and extension by all accounts of that growing metropolitan area.
Northern Kentucky Real Estate
The Northern Kentucky real estate market has remained fairly competitive compared to the other real estate markets across the United States. For the most part, companies and home owners are fairing the tougher economic conditions and market place with a far better outlook.
Northern Kentucky Homes
Home inventory is up somewhat, but the outlook and forecast for the local real estate market should hopefully be more resilient and bounce back more quickly than in other areas around the country. So, while there are some potential opportunities to be had at present, don’t expect the homes for sale to take a big plunge in pricing - its just not very likely to happen.
Northern Kentucky Community Information
There is a wealth of information regarding the Northern Kentucky community. One of the first and most interesting is that the metropolitan airport for Cincinnati is actually located in Covington Kentucky - and is known officially as the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport. So, if you are wanting to “fly out of Cincinnati”, you better be looking on this side of the river for your plane, or you will likely miss your flight.
Northern Kentucky Schools
Northern Kentucky has a tremendous amount of schools in the area. Most notably is going to be Northern Kentucky University. Additionally there are a lot of quality other colleges and universities to include Brown Mackie College Northern Kentucky, Southwestern College in Florence, and Thomas More College in Crestview Hills KY (which is close to Edgewood, Erlanger, and Fort Mitchell).
